I don't think anything makes God chuckle more than the word "never" uttered from the human mouth.

But I am glad you explained, knowing you, I wasn't sure what you meant . . . My eyebrows did raise a little when I read it!voixd'angehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03999151450694973251noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12672109.post-1143953085788838372006-04-01T20:44:00.000-08:002006-04-01T20:44:00.000-08:00In reading your response it hit me that you read m...In reading your response it hit me that you read my "keep your hands up" in the sense of praise and adoration. I meant keep them up as in the classic fighting/boxing stance. Funny. I'm sure, even positive, your take is the correct one, though, of course, I'd never be caught dead "raising my hands" in worship. Ahh, the cross current of language!Constantine https://www.blogger.com/profile/02399573462513951395noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12672109.post-1143389704467707462006-03-26T08:15:00.000-08:002006-03-26T08:15:00.000-08:00I love it! Are you in a 15 round bout of sorts?

You know, in the movie "A Perfect Storm," one of the most poignant scenes is near the end when the younger guy is treaded water during a brief lull in the storm after the boat has sunk. With the waves beginning to develop that will surely engulf him, he captures in that brief moment with words that you know he’s speaking in his mind what is true.

You’re right, tough times have the capability of making us better. But as your earlier post eloquently pointed out, they also have the ability to break us.

Keep your hands up Mi Amiga.Constantine https://www.blogger.com/profile/02399573462513951395noreply@blogger.com
