Enter Mission was a play on words, as you may have noticed I have titled my last four post like a musical work. So it is a play on the word intermission. Enter Mission - meaning a call to do just that... I love this work because it reminds me of intercession. To me it looks as if Christ is prostrate on the Cross interceding for the world below... I am not sure if that is the original intent of Mr. Dali... But I have this picture on my living room wall and that is what it means to me. I find it very inspiring.
Thank you Ange. You know I had a romance with a protege of Salvador Dali once...I have to assume this guy was a Christian. I have never seen this painting before. Deep. I am supposed to be starting an art project today my self.

Hey Angevoix. What is it about this work that you like? What do you mean "Enter Mission?"

Cool play on words. Dali's depiction of the Crucifixion is certainly "otherly."
