Do we get to vote? Or is this a multiple choice question? What do I win if I'm right?

LOL
Don't ask me....I'm so confused I don't even care!

I like this one. Why stop at race? Holy Wisdom, as represented in the books of Proverbs and Sirach, is depicted as a young woman. Many scholars view this depiction as a manifestation of the pre-incarnate Christ.

Talk about Taboooooooooo!

Peace,

Mike

As my long-ago Jewish boyfriend asked me once, "So... what does Jewish look like?"

Ahhhhhhh! Very good MCM.

Dr. Kear, I couldn't really see the detailing of your link.

Oh-oh. If you go to the last post on Hipchick's site, into the comments, right at the end there are instructions for getting that extra anti-spam security, Angevoix. I think I'll go do that myself before I get creamed.

Thanks MCM! It was a cinch.

Jesus was a very charismatic speaker, does it really matter what he looked like? I agree with sotto voce, he had a good tan with some muscles (good for lifting sheep). And madcapmum, what does Jewish look like? ;-)

I never kiss and tell, Leslie!

But I know Jews who have the stereotypical middle-eastern face, dark and strong-featured, and I know Jews with geeky-white skin and curly red hair and hazel eyes.

Of course it matters what he looked like! What if I'm right and you're wrong and I never get a chance to lord it over you? ;)

dr. mike,

it sounds as if you are referring to sophia, lady wisdom! she is my favorite! i vote for her!

i'm hoping to find the right prof this next year and do lots of fun and exciting research into lady wisdom=christ. i don't normally like to toot my own horn but if you link over to my sight, and go back to my beginning (maybe the second month or so?) you can find my first encounter with sophia and a sermon i gave on her. it was soo fun! beautiful pic by the way!

all kinds of new implications...i'll shut up, i get way too excited!
