That which cannot be defeated by force, subdued, or overthrown. From the Latin "inexpugnabilis" meaning that which cannot be taken by the storm.
Dr. King is assassinated in Memphis, Tenn.
I don't understand that picture and its relevence to the quote, and I can't get it to enlarge. Could you explain?
Martin Luther King somehow knew that he was going to die a martyr to the cause of equality and freedom. He walked the walk and carried the cross Jesus gave him. We are all going to die, too. Do we do so having lived the life of carrying the cross Christ assigns to us? Or do we die wishing that we had taken up that cross and walked in the steps of Christ?
Thank you Dr. Kear, I couldn't have explained it better than that. The picture MCM is of Dr. King's assassination.
